MagnaFlow Turbo Back Exhaust System Installation - 2003 Ford F-250

All right, today on this 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty Super Cab, we're going to show you part number MF18985. This is a MagnaFlow Custom Series Turbo Back Exhaust System constructed from aluminized steel. This is basically a steel exhaust with a protective aluminum coating on top of it. All right, this is what the exhaust looks like once installed on the truck. Right off the bat, we can see that we have it routed towards the right-hand side of a truck, and we have a diameter of 4 inches. It is a steel construction with an aluminum coating on the outside and on the inside of the pipe. It uses 1/2-inch thick rods welded to the pipe here, and it goes up to the factory rubber hangers on the truck. more

MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System Installation - 2006 Ford F-150- Video

MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System Installation - 2006 Ford F-150

Today on our 2006 Ford F-150 we'll be installing the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System part number MF16616. To begin our install, we'll first need to remove the old or manufacturer's exhaust. Starting at the clamp just behind the Y pipe of the exhaust, we're going to spray it down with some spray lubricant. Note over time this clamp will rust up and can be extremely difficult to get off. In severe cases it may even break. If that happens, it'll be necessary to replace it. In an event where it's so rusted that you can't get a wrench or socket to hold, we'll use a pair of vise grips to try and break it free. more

Before we can install our new exhaust we have to remove the old exhaust, so Im going to take a little spray lubricant, spray each one of the rubber hangers, make it a little easier to remove and reinstall later. We also see there some exhaust clamps that were going to need to be removed. Were going to thoroughly spay these down with some penetrating oil to make it a little easier to break them free and get them loose. Alright start removing the exhaust; were going to come up here to the turbo underneath the hood. more

MagnaFlow Exhaust Installation - 2007 Ford F-150

Today on a 2007 Ford F-150 we will be installing a MagnaFlow performance exhaust, part number MF16523. Our first procedure is going to be soaking down our clamp and hardware. I highly recommend that you soak this down several times and let it sit for at least 30 minutes before trying to break this nut loose. These bolts tend to become extremely rusted and very difficult to remove. As you can see, we have already gotten this nut broken loose. This clamp is loose but, if it becomes difficult to back off, I recommend that you work the nut back and forth, on and off, breaking free the rust that has built up in the threads of the clamp. After giving it a few taps with the hammer, you will notice that the clamp came loose and broke the rust free. Now that my clamp is loose, I just want to spread it open a little bit to make it easier to remove the exhaust pipe. 0:58 more

MagnaFlow Exhaust Installation - 2001 Ford Ranger- Video

MagnaFlow Exhaust Installation - 2001 Ford Ranger

Today on this 2001 Ford Ranger we are going to install part number MF15679 from MagnaFlow. The first thing we are going to do to get ready is go ahead and move the spare tire. You do not have to do that but it makes things a lot easier to get to and see. The next thing we are going to do is spray down the bolts going towards the catalytic converter. Let it sit for awhile and we will go ahead and loosen them up. And also, you will notice, this is not the original factory connection going to the catalytic converter too. This is actually another aftermarket exhaust. We will leave that set for now. Now we will go back to the rest of the exhaust and remove all of the rubber hangers. Just spray them down with some lubricant also and pull them apart. Alright, we will just push it to one side and pull it out. And then we will pull out the other side. You should be able to pull it all out as one piece. 0:56 more
